Andrea Ranocchia assures the Inter squad is “behind Andrea Stramaccioni” ahead of the Derby d’Italia against Juventus.
There have been question marks over the Coach due to recent poor results, including the Europa League elimination at the hands of Tottenham.
“These rumours do not and must not affect his work, as we are all behind him,” Ranocchia told Sportmediaset.
“There are 10 games that we absolutely have to win. We’ll fight to the end for a place in the Champions League, though it’ll be tough because there are so many teams in this race.”
The Italian international defender admits he is only now finding his feet at San Siro.
“My personal target for this season is to continue improving. I have changed so much from last season and I needed that disastrous year, as it helped me to grow.”
Inter ended Juve’s unbeaten Serie A record in Turin earlier this term, but now welcome the Serie A leaders to San Siro on Saturday afternoon.
“We hope to repeat the trick and win again. We can beat Juventus by working as a team, that’s the real method. We should take an example from our performance in the second leg against Tottenham, when we moved as one.”
