Inter’s Esteban Cambiasso says he won’t necessarily go into coaching when he does bring his playing career to an end.

“A lot of people who know me imagine that I will become a Coach, but that is not automatically my thinking,” the Argentine told Inter Channel.

“A Coach primarily has to pick 11 players, but he also has to control a series of difficult situations which can be created in a squad of players.

“The most difficult aspect for a tactician is to really understand their players, how they live, who they are, how they train, what problems they have…

“Obviously I’ll have to do something else when I do give up the game, but I’ll have to think very carefully about my next step.”

The 32-year-old, who joined the club in 2004 after a two-year stint with Real Madrid, is contracted until 2014.
