Inter President Massimo Moratti felt “a draw would’ve been the right result” after their 2-1 home defeat to Juventus and wanted a penalty.

“The team played well and it went badly for us in terms of result, but there was a good performance, especially in the second half,” said the patron.

“Unfortunately, as usual our first half wasn’t great… To be honest, neither of the two teams did that much in the first 45 minutes.

“It was a very entertaining game after the break and a draw would’ve been the right result. It’s a pity.”

Esteban Cambiasso was sent off in stoppages for an awful challenge on Sebastian Giovinco, but both sides had penalty appeals for a Giorgio Chiellini tackle on Antonio Cassano and Samir Handanovic on Arturo Vidal.

“The foul on Cassano was certainly a penalty, but if they didn’t give it then there’s no point sitting here complaining now.”
