“We’ll have a happy Easter break thanks to this result,” smiled Zamparini on ItaSportPress.

“I am very pleased, but I don’t want to add anything else right now, seeing as it was just an important step forward and not a decisive one.

“There’s a long road to safety still ahead of us.”

Palermo are now in penultimate place on 24 points, while Siena have 26 and Genoa 27.
