Siena goalkeeper Gianluca Pegolo is predicting a bright career for Tuscan teammate Innocent Emeghara.
“He started helping us immediately after his arrival,” Pegolo noted of the striker. “I think that he has an important future ahead of him.”
The 23-year-old was snapped up by the Bianconeri in the January transfer window after a loan deal was done with French side Lorient.
The Swiss international responded to the move by scoring four goals in his first four Serie A games.
He was also on target in Saturday’s thrilling 2-2 draw with fellow relegation candidates Genoa.
Siena boss Beppe Iachini has likened the player to former Milan and Italy striker Pippo Inzaghi.
