Chievo President Luca Campedelli has rubbished reports that striker Cyril Therau is on the verge of joining Lazio.
But the club chief has insisted that a move to the capital is not in the pipeline.
“It is too early to talk about the transfer market,” he told Radio Sei this morning.
“I think the last time I spoke to [Lazio President] Lotito was on January 29.”
The Verona side's owner then commented on a possible bid for the Stadio Olimpico team's forward Libor Kozak.
“A player from Lazio that I would take is Kozak. I think, in the future, he could be one of the best.
“But I know that Lotito is very fond of him and does not want to let him go.
“I have tried to call him, but [when I did] he did not even let me finish the sentence before saying no.”
