Bayern Munich defender Philipp Lahm has called tonight’s Champions League opponents Juventus “a typically Italian team.”
The runaway leaders of the Bundesliga and Serie A go head-to-head in the quarter-final this evening at the Allianz Arena.
“Juventus are dominating the Italian League, which is not an easy thing to do,” Lahm told German newspaper Tz.
“They are a typically Italian team, very organised and with excellent players. However, we are aware of our strengths.
“In attack we have players able to break down any defence. However, we must be concentrated on every single detail right from the start.
“Juve are strong, with a defensive style of play typical of the Italians.”
