Inter legend Sandro Mazzola believes the Nerazzurri “made a huge mistake” in selling Mario Balotelli to Manchester City, even if “he is a bit mad.”
The striker was handed to Roberto Mancini’s City in the summer of 2010 after a series of headline-grabbing incidents at San Siro.
He has now returned to Italy with Inter’s arch-rivals Milan and seems to have finally matured.
“Balotelli is a complete player,” Mazzola told Odeon TV.
“Of course everyone knows he’s a bit mad, but Inter still made a huge mistake in selling him.”
SuperMario has scored seven goals for Milan since arriving in January.
