Palermo will make no decision about the future of Josip Ilicic until the season has come to an end.
The Slovenian international is one of the club’s most highly rated players and could be made available if the outfit are relegated.
“Only once the campaign is over and we know the outcome will we evaluate the various offers,” director Giorgio Perinetti told Roma Giallorossa.
“We know that Palermo have players of value who have personal ambitions, but today we are only thinking about safety and we can’t allow our players to be distracted by transfer stories.
“That is why we have put a stop to all negotiations about renewals or transfers. We’ll listen to requests and potential bids from the end of May onwards.”
The 25-year-old Ilicic, six goals in 25 games this term, has been paired with possible moves to Roma and Sampdoria.
