Genoa President Enrico Preziosi has sent his best wishes to Inter striker Rodrigo Palacio.
The Nerazzurri forward, who played for the Grifone between 2009 and 2012, will be out for up to a month after pulling a muscle in today's training session.
“I am very sorry for his injury,” Preziosi told Sky Sport Italia. “I hope he recovers very soon.
“He has been critical to Inter's good results.
“It is pointless to look back though. There is a love and mutual respect, but he is an Inter player now.”
