Ezequiel Schelotto is going to be very emotional this evening, as the Inter winger faces his old club Atalanta after the death of ex-President Ivan Ruggeri.
The Italian international of Argentine origin left Bergamo in January for this new adventure and welcomes his former teammates to San Siro.
It kicks off at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT), click here for a match preview.
All Serie A sides will wear black armbands this weekend to mark the death of former Atalanta President Ruggeri.
“Ruggeri was not just a President, but also a great man,” Schelotto told Inter Channel.
“I send my condolences to the family, in particular his son Alessandro, who took over as President when he fell ill. We are close to them in this moment of sorrow.”
Ruggeri was President of Atalanta from 1994 to 2008, when he suffered a brain haemorrhage and had been in a coma for the past five years.
Schelotto turned his focus to Inter, whose hopes of qualifying for Europe were hit by Rodrigo Palacio’s injury.
“The victory against Sampdoria really fired us up, but now we want to win in front of our own fans too. I am settling in better every day and hope to remain at Inter for a long time.”
