Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Montella has claimed that it is virtually a 'formality' that he will sign a contract extension.
The Viola Coach's current deal runs out at the end of next season, but the 38-year-old has insisted that it won't take much to see him sign on the dotted line.
“My contract? I am very comfortable with the team,” he told Rai Sport. “I am flattered [to be linked with other teams] and as yet we have not talked about a renewal.
“I think it's a formality though. There is no hurry, we just have to overcome the small things.”
The former Roma striker then commented on tonight's Derby della Capitale.
“I will be interested to see the result. If I had to choose, I would not know who to pick.
“It is difficult to make any predictions.”
