Lazio boss Vladimir Petkovic believes that his side can still qualify for the Champions League, despite only claiming a point against Roma.

The Biancocelesti drew 1-1 with their city rivals on Monday evening to sit in fifth, seven points behind Milan.

But the Aguile Coach has claimed that his team can still make the top three.

“In the second half we had to calm the rhythm of the game down,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“But in the first half we had a lot of the ball, and that allowed us to dominate.

“We have shown a willingness to win here, but unfortunately we could only get a draw.

“I see the glass as half full though. I believe that the Champions League is still possible.”
