Viola want Viviano fee cut

Fiorentina are hoping to sign on-loan Emiliano Viviano outright at the end of the season, but they want a discount from Palermo.

According to La Nazione, the Viola are hoping to get the previously agreed €7.5m buy-out option reduced in order to sign the shot-stopper.

The goalkeeper, a Viola fan, moved to the Stadio Franchi in the summer after the Rosanero took total control of his contract following a co-ownership deal with Inter.

The 27-year-old Italian international has made 25 League appearances so far this season.
