Lazio are expected to offer experienced defender Giuseppe Biava a new contract at the Stadio Olimpico.
The 35-year-old is only contracted to the Biancocelesti until June, but a renewal is seemingly on the horizon.
“We have a gentleman’s agreement with Lazio,” agent Giorgio Perretti told Lazio News 24. “We have still not set-up a meeting, but we will as soon as that is possible.
“Let us wait for them to get their Europa League game out of the way and, maybe, we can reach an official agreement next week.”
Biava, sent off in the 1-1 draw with Roma on Monday, has played in 27 League games and seven Europa League ties this term.
The former Genoa man nets around €0.8m a season in the capital.
