Novara have won their appeal to have their points penalty in the betting scandal reduced to two points, putting them in fifth place.

The €20,000 fine has also been wiped out, while they are waiting for another appeal against a one-point ban for late wages.

The court action lifts Novara up to fifth place on 53 points, overtaking Varese, as their overall points penalty is now three.
