Brescia chief Gino Corioni has questioned Napoli’s hesitancy is using Omar El Kaddouri – a player he has likened to Zinedine Zidane.
The Serie B outfit sold the Belgium-born youth to the Azzurri in the summer, but he’s been fielded in just four Serie A games since for a total of 65 minutes.
“El Kaddouri is a champion,” Corioni told Radio Kiss Kiss on Thursday afternoon. “He could be as good as Zidane…
“Napoli boss Walter Mazzarri has to use him more, but Italian Coaches see youth as a defect. We are really bad at this in Italy.”
El Kaddouri, a midfielder, was also linked with possible moves to Parma and Juventus at the end of the last campaign.
