Palermo fined for ref insults

Palermo and President Maurizio Zamparini have been fined €25,000 each after insulting referee Sebastiano Peruzzo after the Milan match.

Zamparini made the controversial comments after a 2-0 defeat at San Siro on March 17.

The Disciplinary Commission has now imposed fines of €25,000 to Zamparini and the club for insults that damage the reputation of Peruzzo and the entire refereeing authorities.
