Kevin Prince Boateng has admitted that his versatility does limit his Milan performances. “I don’t like changing role all of the time.”

The 26-year-old has been used in various ways in a number of different systems tried by boss Massimiliano Allegri.

“I’ve played in attack, as a Trequartista and in midfield this season,” Boateng told Sky Sport Italia. “I don’t like constantly switching positions.

“The fact that I can play in a number of roles is said to be a positive, but it is not a perfect situation for me.”

Boateng, two goals in 24 Serie A games this term, was also asked for his impressions on January signing Mario Balotelli.

“He’s a really important player for us,” he continued. “And he is very similar to Zlatan Ibrahimovic. He’s a really good kid and he’s been a professional since he’s been here.

“We’ll miss him in these next few games.”

Balotelli has been suspended for three matches meaning that he’ll miss the ties against Napoli and Juventus.
