Tommaso Rocchi wants to kick Roma out of the Coppa Italia this week – primarily for the good of Inter rather than because of his Lazio past.

The veteran joined the Nerazzurri in January from the capital giants and he’s set to face the Giallorossi on Wednesday evening.

“Of course it means a lot because I played for Lazio, but I've played in plenty of derbies against Roma,” he told Inter Channel.

“I'll be motivated to play well for Inter as we want to get through.”

The Nerazzurri will start the second leg of their semi-final clash at San Siro 2-1 behind after their first leg reverse at the Stadio Olimpico.

“It will be 11 against 11,” he added. “It all starts in our heads, we need to find the right focus to play a good match which will allow us to go through.”
