Rodrigo Palacio will not make his return for Inter in Wednesday’s Coppa Italia match against Roma.
There were reports that the Argentine forward would make himself available for the second leg of their Italian Cup semi-final.
“Rodrigo won’t be back against Roma,” his agent Gabriele Giuffrida told FC Inter News. “The injury he sustained needs a lot of attention.
“You have to be careful with these types of problems because a relapse is always around the corner. He’ll be back only once he is fully over it.”
The summer signing from Genoa, 12 goals in 25 League games this term, picked up a thigh strain at the start of this month.
Inter are 2-1 down in their tie against the Giallorossi.
