Roma director Walter Sabatini says tomorrow’s Coppa Italia semi-final with Inter “is fundamental for our season.”
The Giallorossi missed out on Europe this term and run the risk of failing to qualify again, but are in joint fifth place with rivals and Coppa Italia Finalists Lazio.
“It is going to be an exciting game. We deserved to reach this semi-final and now want to play it to the full,” Roma director of sport Sabatini told Sky Sport Italia.
“We really care about tomorrow’s match and want to do well, even if we are aware it won’t be easy.
“We want to give an exciting Final to our fans and continue our momentum after the important victory against Torino. This game is fundamental for our season.
“Inter have a squad of impressive quality, despite the numerous absentees. We will play on a par with them, as Roma also had their fair share of injuries.”
Roma won the first leg of this Coppa Italia semi-final 2-1 at the Stadio Olimpico.
