An initial meeting has failed to set a firm date or kick-off time for the Coppa Italia Final between Lazio and Roma.
There had already been concerns over the match at the Stadio Olimpico on May 26, as that is the same date as local elections in Rome.
The fact that Roma and Lazio have qualified for the Final further complicated matters, as it becomes a Derby della Capitale.
When these teams played each other on April 8 in Serie A, there were clashes between supporters and police, prompting the local authorities to insist the Derby would no longer be played in the evening.
Today there was an initial meeting between Roma, Lazio, the CONI (Italian Olympic Committee), Lega Serie A and local authorities.
No decision was made, but there is expected to be an announcement at the start of next week.
