Javier Zanetti is delighted with Inter’s 1-0 win over Parma at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza this weekend.
After picking up just one point from the last 12 available at San Siro, they collected a crucial win against Roberto Donadoni’s side.
“We got back to winning at home again,” he told Inter Channel. “These are three important points after a run of poor results.”
Inter are now fifth in the standings and the Argentine veteran wants a strong finish to the season after a problematic campaign.
“Now we have five games left,” he continued. “They’ll be tough ones against teams who are fighting for survival or Europe.
“But we have our own goals as well.
“We hope to get some of our injured players back and challenge our upcoming opponents, just as we’ve always done.
“We’re on the right path. We have to make the most of this week in order to work hard and keep adding points in the standings, which could end up making a difference for us.”
