Giorgio Chiellini has conceded that Juventus may not have impressed onlookers in the 1-0 win over Milan on Sunday night.
“It wasn’t our best game of the season,” the stopper noted. “We faced a great team who have had an incredible revival. They stopped us from playing in the first half.”
Juve, who became the first side to beat Milan in the League during 2013, are now just four points away from the Scudetto with five games left.
“We now know how far away we are after this victory and we can now just think about ourselves without looking elsewhere,” he added.
Juventus could actually wrap up the title this weekend against city rivals Torino if the result of the Napoli game goes in their favour.
“But I don’t think we’ll do it on Sunday. We’ll give our all in the derby, both for our fans and to take us closer to our goal.
“But with all respect to Pescara, I think Napoli will win their game.
“The 11-point gap is considerable, we’ve done well to win difficult games over the past few weeks and take the wind out of the sails of the chasing pack.”
