Inter are looking for new investors and Tuttosport claims they’ll include a billionaire from Kazakhstan.
President Massimo Moratti has confirmed the club is considering new sources of revenue, including global investors.
According to Tuttosport, the man who is most likely to pour money into the club coffers is Bulat Utemuratov.
The 55-year-old is on the Forbes list of richest people in the world thanks to zinc mining, banking and hotels.
Utemuratov is a huge tennis fan and is President of the Kazakh Tennis Federation. His wealth is estimated at $2.2bn.
Tuttosport claims an emissary of the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, has been spotted at the Appiano Gentile training ground several times in recent months for negotiations with Moratti.
