Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade has refused to comment on whether the club will make a move for Pablo Osvaldo.
The Roma striker has been heavily linked with a move away from the capital at the end of the season.
But the administrator has insisted that there has been no contact with Aurelio Andreazzoli's men, whilst also commenting on Adem Ljajic's contract renewal.
“If big names are attached to Fiorentina, it means that we have become a big club,” he told Cartellino Viola.
“Osvaldo is a strong player, but he is at Roma.
“If we were interested, I'd go straight to Roma. But at the moment there is nothing.
“There have been developments with Ljajic. After May 19 we will solve all the issues.
“Adem has been very important to us.”
