Nicola Bellomo is ready to prove himself in Serie A, the Bari player’s representative has underlined.
The 22-year-old was strongly linked with both Inter and Roma during the January transfer window, but no deal was done.
“He is co-owned by Bari and Chievo Verona,” Davide Lippi told calciomercato.it. “The two clubs still have to meet and decide what to do.
“He’s doing really well and next season he’ll take the necessary step in his growth seeing as he is a really interesting player.
“I hope to see him on the Serie A stage next season because I believe that he deserves it and that he is ready for it.”
Bellomo is an attacking midfielder who has recently been paired with Genoa and Parma.
