Lazio are sliding down the standings, so President Claudio Lotito had dinner with key players to motivate them.
The Biancocelesti had been the success story of the season up until a few weeks ago, reaching the Coppa Italia Final, the Europa League quarter-final and remaining in the race for third place in Serie A.
However, they have lost five of their last seven games and slipped to joint seventh position with Udinese.
According to reports in Rome, President Lotito took action by inviting several key players out to dinner in a team-building exercise.
Among those at the dinner were Miroslav Klose and Hernanes, as the President urged them to find the reasons behind this collapse in form.
It is also believed Lotito promised strong bonuses for Europa League qualification.
