Iachini: 'Siena can't stop for Roma'

Siena are only one point clear of the relegation zone and Beppe Iachini warns they “cannot stop now” against Roma.

The Tuscans would’ve been further off the foot of the table had they not suffered a shock 1-0 home defeat to Chievo last week.

This afternoon they visit the Stadio Olimpico, where Pescara already caused an upset with a 1-1 draw. Click here for a match preview.

“We should be proud of what we are doing, as we are still in front of the other contenders for safety and that has to motivate us, but at the same time we cannot stop now,” said the Coach.

“We are facing a very strong side like Roma with many champions and talented youngsters who can change the game at any moment. It’s going to be difficult, but we have to play 100 per cent.

“It’s true there were some things that went against us, including refereeing decisions, but that’s all in the past now. We must focus on the next game.”

Alessio Sestu and Nicola Pozzi are unavailable for this match.

Siena squad for Roma: Farelli, Marini, Pegolo; Angelo, Felipe, Grillo, Paci, Rubin, Teixeira, Terlizzi, Terzi; Agra, Bolzoni, Calello, Della Rocca, Mannini, Valiani, Vergassola, Verre; Bogdani, Emeghara, Paolucci, Reginaldo, Rosina
