Goran Pandev celebrated his goal against Pescara and pointed out Napoli “are targeting the Scudetto next season.”
The Partenopei consolidated second place with last night’s 3-0 victory at the Stadio Adriatico, postponing the Juventus title party.
“It was important to win and we did well to break the deadlock in the second half, as these were three precious points,” Pandev told Sky Sport Italia.
“We missed Edi Cavani, but we’ll welcome him back with open arms next week against Inter.
“I think the thing we really lacked in the title race was consistency, as we got it wrong against quite a few smaller clubs this term.
“We are targeting the Scudetto next season, but right now we’re happy to be second and want to keep hold of that until the end of the campaign.”
