Lazio President Claudio Lotito has called for fans to refrain from violence when they face Roma in the Coppa Italia final.
A decision was finally made today on the date of the match, which had caused initial problems due to the game clashing local elections in the Italian capital.
And the Biancocelesti owner has asked supporters of his club not to fight with their city rivals.
“I have to make an appeal to my fans,” he told a Press conference. “The fans have to respect the law.
“We have to ensure that this game is a reason to revive sport in this city.
“Fans must know that we are under observation at an international level – our behaviour will become an emblem of Rome.
“We have to show that Roma can organize great occasions.”
