Chievo Verona striker Alberto Paloschi admits he’s desperate to put an end to his current goal drought.
The attacker co-owned with Milan has seven goals in 19 League games this term, but his last came in the 1-0 win at Lazio in January.
“I’m in good shape, but I haven’t netted for a long time,” he stated on Thursday ahead of the match versus Cagliari.
“Obviously the good of the team comes first, but it is horrible for a forward to go without scoring a goal,” the 23-year-old added.
“We have four games left and the hope is that I can grab a goal which ensures that we stay up.”
The Verona outfit are seven points clear of the drop zone. They’ll also play Roma, Torino and Atalanta before the season is over.
