Udinese have ruled out the theory that they’ve already agreed to sell Mehdi Benatia to Napoli.
“None of it is true,” Udinese President Franco Soldati told Tutto Udinese on Friday afternoon. “There is not even a negotiation taking place. It’s all fantasy.”
The 26-year-old is one of the club’s most wanted players on the transfer market despite his struggles in 2012-13.
The Moroccan international defender has scored one goal in 15 League games this term.
Napoli have signed numerous players from the Udine outfit in the past, including Gokhan Inler and Pablo Armero.
