Jovetic: 'A crucial match'

Stevan Jovetic warned tonight’s match with Roma “is crucial for our Champions League hopes,” as Fiorentina chase Milan.

The Viola are only one point behind the Rossoneri, but could go temporarily into third this evening. Click here for the line-ups.

“We really want to get into the Champions League. I remember when I played in it and it was a fantastic feeling,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“We’ve got to win tonight in order to push for third place, otherwise it’s going to be difficult, so this is crucial for our Champions League hopes. Roma are a strong side who play entertaining football, so we expect a spectacle tonight.

“In the locker room we talk about the Champions League a lot, as do the fans, so tonight we want to win for them too.”

Naturally, Jovetic was asked about his future amid links with Napoli, Juventus, Arsenal and Manchester City.

“Right now I am absolutely concentrated on the end of the season.”
