Vincenzo Montella admits that Fiorentina’s Champions League dream is almost over after their defeat to Roma.
The Viola are now four points behind third-placed Milan with just three League games remaining this term.
“The Champions League would be difficult to get into when you consider the situation at the moment,” he explained.
“All we can do is try to win all of our remaining games.”
Montella’s Fiorentina have been a revelation this term and he’s keen for his Tuscan adventure to continue.
“I still don’t know what my future will be,” he added. “I’ll have to speak with the President, but there are the conditions in place for me to remain.”
Fiorentina will face Siena, Palermo and Pescara, while Milan will end the campaign with ties versus Pescara, Roma and Siena.
