Roma director general Franco Baldini says there is no need to renegotiate terms with Marquinhos.
The Brazilian is being linked with a possible move to Barcelona, but the official doesn’t seem worried by the Nou Camp outfit’s interest.
“The boy has a four-year contract with us,” Baldini told Sky Sport Italia. “Therefore, there is no meeting set-up with his agents.
“There is no urgency in discussing new terms with the player. We could do, but only at a more advanced stage.”
The teenager, 18, has been a success in his first season in the Italian capital following his arrival from Corinthians.
The centre-back is thought to be on a salary of around €800,000 a campaign at the Stadio Olimpico.
