Finishing in the top three next season will be the objective for an Inter side starved of Europe, says Juan Jesus.
After 14 years, the Nerazzurri have failed to qualify for the Europa League or the Champions League for 2013-14.
“It will be a different sort of campaign for us,” the young Brazilian defender stated to Inter Channel.
“We'll set out to win and we must certainly get Inter back into the Champions League.”
The Beneamata have had a disastrous season and the 3-1 loss to Lazio on Wednesday was their 15th of the campaign.
“Unfortunately it didn't go well for us against Lazio,” he added. “But we tried everything we could and we played a good game.
“It's a shame the year's gone the way it has, hopefully it will go better next season.”
Inter boss Andrea Stramaccioni has had his team ripped apart by injuries and Juan Jesus will now be banned for the game against Genoa.
“The Coach knows what to do. He's very good at putting out the best team with what he has available.”
