Luca Antonini says he still wants to stay at Milan despite his lack of regular use this season.
“I have a year left on my contract,” the 30-year-old told Sky Sport Italia. “But I don’t think there will be any problems.
“I’ve always said that I want to end my career here so I hope that this incredible fairy tale in Rossonero continues.”
The full-back has only been fielded in six Serie A games by boss Massimiliano Allegri in 2012-13.
“The Coach has made his decisions and it is only right that those choices are accepted,” the Italian continued.
“However, the injury which I sustained in October did keep me out of action for two months. But to be a part of this squad is an honour.”
