Luca Cigarini has sent a clear message to Atalanta regarding his future – “I want to stay at this club!”
The midfielder has spent the last two years on loan at the outfit from Napoli, but the Nerazzurri have the option to sign him outright this summer.
“I hope that the club takes an important step forward for me,” the former Parma playmaker commented.
“I’d like them to take up the option they have for me because it is my desire to remain here at Atalanta.”
The 26-year-old has scored two goals in 26 Serie A games this term for a side who have confirmed their top-flight status for next season.
