Alejandro Gomez has told Tuttosport that he expects to be sold by Catania at the end of the present campaign.

The No 17 has had an impressive season in Sicily which has seen him strongly linked with a switch to Inter.

“I have the feeling that I will be leaving,” the Argentine commented. “Where? La Liga is a beautiful championship which I’d like to play in, but Italy is a country where I have caught the eye.

“I’d love to play in the Champions League or the Europa League as I’m a young guy. We’ll have to see if that is possible.

“Nevertheless, I’ll only leave if Catania decide to sell me and the interested club can offer me the chance to improve.”

The forward, also linked with Atletico Madrid, has scored seven goals in 34 Serie A games this season.
