Inter captain Javier Zanetti has insisted that he will play at least one more year with the club.
The 39-year-old was ruled out for up to eight months recently after snapping his Achilles tendon.
But the veteran has claimed that he will wear the Nerazzurri shirt once more, as well as commenting on the future of Andrea Stramaccioni.
“On August 10 I will reach 40,” he told Argentine radio station Rock and Closs. “My intention is to play again after this injury.
“I hope to be here for another season.
“I want to stay at Inter,
“There are no valid reasons to replace Stramaccioni,” he added. “Anyway, the President has given Andrea his full confidence.”
