Lazio have sold Javier Garrido to Norwich City after the Premier League club turned his loan spell into a permanent deal.
The 28-year-old Spanish defender spent this season in Norwich and played 34 games between Premier League and FA Cup, so the Canaries decided to buy him outright.
He was given only 11 appearances for Lazio in 2011-12, playing a grand total 736 minutes of football.
Lazio will receive an undisclosed fee, while Garrido signs a two-year contract with an option for a third.
“I'm so happy to have signed full-time I am very comfortable with everything here - with the players, the technical staff and of course the fans,” said Garrido.
“I am just very happy that we have managed to remain in the Premier League where we belong.
“Now I want to do everything I can to help Norwich continue to be successful in the Premier League. For me personally I am delighted to have secured my future playing in English football with Norwich.”
