Udinese owner Giampaolo Pozzo insists boss Francesco Guidolin will not be a part of this summer’s managerial merry-go-round.

Guidolin is being linked with the likes of Napoli and Inter given the uncertainty over the futures of Walter Mazzarri and Andrea Stramaccioni.

“It is logical that other teams are looking at him, but he has decided to stay in Udine despite the millionaire wages on offer elsewhere,” Pozzo told Sky Sport Italia.

“He is a man of his word and will thus remain at Udinese.

“We would like him to imitate what Sir Alex Ferguson did at Manchester United, therefore we have the chance to keep him for 20 years.”

The 57-year-old tactician joined Udinese for the second time in his career during the summer of 2010.

Guidolin has led the Stadio Friuli outfit into the Champions League preliminaries over the last two seasons.

They are set to qualify for the Europa League this time around.

Guidolin, formerly of Vicenza, Bologna, Monaco and Parma amongst others, is contracted in Udine until June 2015.
