Five clubs have expressed an interest in signing Josip Ilicic this summer, says Palermo chief Maurizio Zamparini.
The Slovenian midfielder, 10 goals in 31 League games this term, will leave the outfit after their relegation.
“There are three Italian clubs chasing Ilicic, as well as Schalke 04 and Zenit St Petersburg,” Zamparini told Radio Kiss Kiss.
“Had we managed to stay in Serie A then he would have remained with us.”
Roma have also expressed an interest in the former Maribor man.
