Juve to make wholesale changes

Tuttosport have revealed that Juventus will try to sign a ‘diverse’ range of players this summer in order to mount a European challenge.

The Bianconeri have won the last two Scudetti, but failed to make it past the quarter-finals of the Champions League this season – losing out to finalists Bayern Munich.

But the Turin-based newspaper has claimed that Antonio Conte’s side will attempt to make wholesale changes during the off-season.

Forwards Gonzalo Higuain, Stevan Jovetic, Arjen Robben and Nani are all potential targets, as well as defenders Angelo Ogbonna and Andrea Ranocchia.

Sampdoria’s Pedro Obiang and fellow midfielders Jonathan Biabiany and Francesco Lodi are also players the Old Lady will hope to tempt to the club.

This comes despite director general Beppe Marotta insisting on Thursday that the team want to make ‘gradual changes’.
