Andrea Stramaccioni laughed off a comedy award for Inter’s injuries. “I was the only one who didn’t get hurt!”
The Coach was presented with the traditional Tapiro d’Oro award from Striscia La Notizia, but as there were so many setbacks for the Nerazzurri this season, he was brought a wheelbarrow full of awards.
“We set new negative records, but while everyone was healthy we managed a record of consecutive away victories,” noted Strama.
“Of course, after that, I was the only one who didn’t get hurt! President Massimo Moratti? No, he’s fine!”
Antonio Cassano was added to the list yesterday when fracturing his hand during a fall in training.
When asked whether he would remain at Inter next season or seek pastures new, Stramaccioni was adamant.
“We absolutely have to make up for this season. We cannot end it like this.”
