Sacked before the end of the season, Roberto Mancini bought a full-page ad in a newspaper to say goodbye to Manchester City fans.
The Italian tactician was given the boot last week after losing the FA Cup Final to Wigan Athletic and replaced by Brian Kidd for the final few games.
Not given the chance to say goodbye at the stadium, Mancio instead took out a full-page ad in the Manchester Evening News.
The large picture of him waving is joined by the phrase ‘Manchester City Supporters: 3 UNFORGETTABLE YEARS’
The FA Cup, Community Shield and Premier League trophies are all pictured before his personal message.
