Milan have confirmed that goalkeeper Christian Abbiati has signed a contract extension with the club.
The veteran shot-stopper claimed last night that he had put pen-to-paper, and the Rossoneri have released a statement today that the 35-year-old will play for one more season.
Abbiati’s existing deal was set to run out in June, but this new contract will see him play for the San Siro side until June 2014.
