Gokhan Inler has no immediate desire to leave Napoli after boss Walter Mazzarri confirmed his exit from the club.
The transfer rumour mill is suggesting that the midfielder could move to Inter if Mazzarri replaces Andrea Stramaccioni at San Siro.
“Gokhan is happy in Naples and I’m certain that he’ll be a protagonist for the side next season,” agent Dino Lamberti told Radio CRC.
“Let’s wait and see who will be named as the new Napoli boss, but he still has three years left on his contract.
“Then, obviously, if the new Coach has no need for Inler then the situation could change.”
The 28-year-old Swiss international joined the Stadio San Paolo outfit from Udinese in 2011 for a fee of around €13m.
Inler scored six goals in 31 League games this term.
